Good Morning my Dear Wild Ones! This week I want to talk about the process of Metamorphosis 🐛🦋. The uncomfortable but necessary form of change. Not all change is easy. Sometimes it feels like an internal battle. But it’s not really a battle at all. It is the process of change. If we can learn to sit back and allow the struggle of change to take over, than we will be able to get over to the other side of change. Much like a caterpillar 🐛 goes through to become a beautiful butterfly 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋.
Imagine if the caterpillar 🐛 decided to resist the process of metamorphosis? What do you think would happen? Would the caterpillar not eat the necessary food it needs just to stay a caterpiller til it dies? I don’t know?
What kind of things do we do to ourselves to try to stop the process of change? Do we stay in unhealthy but comfortable relationships? Do we eat foods that our not good for us but bring us a level of comfort? How do you think all this resisting change is affecting us?
This weeks challenge is for you to get comfortable with struggle. Sounds scary right? Well it’s not. Sometimes when we meditate it’s not very comfortable. It’s not always easy to sit in stillness and try to calm the mind. But calming the mind is the thing that helps us through the struggle. Ironic right?
Be an observer of your struggle this week. Ask yourself why does this hurt. And work with that. Maybe the struggle you’ve been resisting is just the ticket you need to get through, to have that big break through in your life.
Spend 10 mins everyday this week in meditation. Allow your mind to rest. Just observe and release. And return to your stillness.
